Termites and Wood Destroying Insects (WDI) can be a major problem for homeowners.  In fact many types of loans require the buyer to get a WDI report as proof to the lender there are no active infestations.  Normally, if a buyer is doing a home inspection, they have a WDI inspection done at the same time.  But that only helps homeowners know at the time they purchase the house if there are any problems.  What about future problems that may arise.  What do you do and how do you protect your largest investment from getting eaten up from the inside out?  I found a great article that gives some great tips on spotting signs of termites and wood destroying insects.
